I imagine van Gogh did this for a fewreasons,* matchless reason could be to show the way that he felt plot of land he waspainting, which could of been sad or blue. This is a possibilityas van Gogh was known for his sad lifestyle which would eventually draw to him mutilating his ear after an argument with the artistPaul Gaugin, becoming a voluntary patient at the St. Remy MentalAsylum and then finally, shaft himself in a suicide attempt anddying two geezerhood later.* Another reason for the exaggerated use of blue could be knock down thefact that van Gogh wanted to make the reader savor as if it wascold or icy in the painting.* One to a greater extent reason could be to give the impression that van Gogh is rest outside and the blue is the sky in the background.I can guarantee that van Gogh is not at a happy cartridge clip in his life as hisexpression is gloomy and miserable.
